Shenlong company is originally a state-owned enterprise under the direct leadership of Agricultural Commission of Shanghai Municipal People's Government. Starting from the establishment of Shanghai Shenlong International Trading Corp. in 1992, thecompany, after over ten years of arduous efforts, has established its development strategy basing itself in the suburbs, relying on the Agricultural Commission, bringing into full play of its advantages and serving agriculture and its operation characteristics sci-tech promoting agriculture, information strengthening agriculture, quality service assisting agriculture. The company has developedand become the group company. The Group has several subsidiaries and branch companies which are investment & management, international trade, petroleum chemicals, real estate development, colourful garden, high-tech agricultural consulting and steel goods and materials. The ShenlongGroup has carried out structural reform completely and the nongovernmental business system brings new energy for Shenlong Group.

At present, the Group has over one hundred staff, 85% of who have associate degree or higher and 30% have their academic titles higher than semi-senior ranks.
